Simon Community Release Annual Reivew 2008-2009

Monday 30 November 2009

Simon Community NI recently held their Annual General Meeting in which they released the charities Annual Review 2008-2009.

Simon Community Northern Ireland 'Never Been More Relevant'

“Simon Community services to homeless individuals and families have never been more relevant.  We exist to address homelessness by supporting people who find themselves without a home or who are struggling to maintain their own accommodation.” This was the message given to those attending the recent Simon Community Northern Ireland Annual General Meeting.

Niall Sheridan, Chairman of the charity, continued:

“This year our Christmas message asks those who have been fortunate enough to have never experienced homelessness to consider those who have no home for Christmas.  In the current economic climate many people are facing considerable challenges in Northern Ireland.  It is important that everyone is aware that services do exist which can support people who are at risk of becoming homeless.”
