Simon Community NI launched its new billboard and website campaign on Thursday 10th April 2008.  The new campaign entilted 'it happened to me' highlights that Simon Community help 500 people everyday to rebuild their lives and stresses that homelessness can happen to anyone during any stage of their life.

Homeless people were centrally involved in developing the campaign.  The concept was developed following a meeting with a large group of Simon Community's service users aimed at getting their views.  They wanted to articulate that homelessness could happen to anyone at anytime.

This website campaign 'it could happen to me' highlights recent stories from four different service users explaining how they became homeless and how Simon Community have helped them through this process.
