For many, Christmas is a time for gifts, office parties and quality time with loved ones. But for those with no home, Christmas can mean worry over keeping warm, guilt for not being able to afford gifts or loneliness for those no longer in touch with family.

Each night this December, Simon Community NI will provide 382 warm, safe beds for those with no home. They will be adults, young people and families, all anxious and frightened for their future. With your support, we can help make Christmas a little brighter for someone with no home.

Getting involved with Simon Community NI this Christmas is easy!

Here are just a few ideas to get you started;

  • Dine & Donate! When you dine at the Galgorm, Cáfe Parisien or Fratelli you can add just £1 to your bill to help end homelessness. The sky is the limit, speak to the staff if you'd like to increase your donation.
  • Hold a Christmas Bake Off or a Christmas themed quiz at your school or office.
  • Do your students love to colour in? Organise a Christmas colouring in competition. Post it on your social channels to get parents involved too.
  • Are you holding a Christmas Fair or a Christmas Party on the last day of school? Invite Santa to join in the fun and gather donations. We know he's a very busy man this time of year, but we hear if you ask nicely he always willing to pop down from the North Pole.

To start fundraising simply contact our Fundraising team via fundraise@simoncommunity.org or call 028 9023 2882 and ask to speak to fundraising.
