Our dedicated schools co-ordinator will provide a PowerPoint presentation for teachers. This can be used in year groups, assemblies or as part of a lesson in citizenship, LLW, Religious Studies or English. The presentation will aim to change the stereotypes held around homelessness and allow a more comprehensive understanding of homelessness in Northern Ireland.
We can also provide a Q&A session by video conferencing or by email. A fundraiser may also come to give a talk in person, should circumstances allow.
Every year we welcome more than 1,000 young people through our doors, providing them with warm, safe beds and daily ongoing support throughout their homelessness.
Last year over 2,800 young people aged 16-25 were recognised as homeless in Northern Ireland.
Your support can help us to give them a brighter future.
Should you decide to fundraise for us, we can provide you with stickers, wristbands, buckets, sponsorship forms, leaflets etc. We will also be there to advise and support you all the way.
