New Local Housing Allowance Scheme Introduced
Thursday 3 April 2008 On the 3rd April 2008 the Housing Executive advised landlords and Housing Benefit customers of new changes to Housing Benefit legislation which are about to be introduced.
The new Local Housing Allowance Scheme will affect both new Housing Benefit customers and existing customers that either have a break in their claim or change address. Local Housing Allowance will not affect customers who are Housing Executive or Housing Association tenants.
