Saturday 15th September 2012 - Simon Community NI Slieve Donard Challenge
Join Simon Community NI on a one day trek to the peak of Slieve Donard in County Down, while raising vital funds through sponsorship to help end homelessness in Northern Ireland. This is a brilliant individual challenge, or a great team building exercise.
November and December 2012 - StreetSmart
A voluntary Ł1 donation will be added to your table’s bill at participating restaurants throughout the winter months. It is a very simple way of enabling customers to donate to the homeless at an emotive time of the year, whilst creating a positive association for local restaurants.
December 2012- Simon Community NI ‘Christmas Presence’ Campaign
At Christmas we ask local businesses not to send Christmas Cards, instead we are asking for each business to join our ‘Christmas Presence’ campaign, which allows your company to include their logo in our full page feature in the ‘Belfast Telegraph’ and ‘Sunday Life. This allows you to send your seasonal greetings to over 387,000 (NITGI) of local readers, whilst helping us to support those who have no place to call home.
Each year we and our supporters also organise many other events including bag packs, street collections and abseils which help to raise both awareness and money.
