Jail Break Fundraising Event - February 2009
Simon Community Northern Ireland are the first organisation to receive permission from the Department of Social Development to use the Crumlin Road Gaol for a fundraising event.
On 27th February 2009, the Simon Community locked up local business leaders and celebrities with the aim of raising awareness and funds for their work with homeless individuals and families throughout Northern Ireland.
This was an online donations campaign and proved to be a very successful by raising approximately £14,000.
